The survey structure you cite, and I question myself, must define &quot;generate revenue&quot; carefully.  You can account for utilization in many ways, and I suspect elective vs emergency admits (see data out this week) impacts bottom line significantly.  Who does what and where, and under what circumstances difficult to parse.  I doubt a CFO survey captures all of this fully.
